The BAT Annex located in Sunset Park District of Brooklyn is a newly renovated building offering about 55,000 square feet of commercial and industrial space. The BAT Annex has four floors, each approximately 12,000 square feet providing additional space available for leasing at the Brooklyn Army Terminal Main Facility. Through a construction management contract with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), Armand Corporation is currently managing the design and construction of work to facilitate the leasing process (installation of demising partitions, new lighting, improvements to MEP systems, etc.).
The NYCEDC has advised that the first floor of the Annex will be leased for the operation of a Test Kitchen and Café. The Test Kitchen will occupy a footprint of about 500SF as well as the Café and will both be located at the southeasterly portion of the building footprint near the main entrance of the building. The proposed locations are indicated on the attached sketch. Each tenant will require utilities, ventilation, partitions and wall/floor finishes.
