Lincoln University-John Miller Dickey Hall
Armand provided pre-construction services for the renovation of a 60,000-square foot, three-story building at Lincoln University. The scope of work required the relocation of the existing IT section, alteration of space to provide a Dean’s suite and two new lecture halls, and the renovation of the auditorium. The project also included upgrades to the electrical distribution and building lighting, installation of a new HVAC system, upgrades and repairs of all restroom facilities and associated services to meet code, and repairs to the building envelope to mitigate leaks and restore concrete slabs, walkways, masonry and landing. Armand provided a constructability review of schematic plans and specifications, design drawings and specifications, interim construction documents, and construction documents. We also coordinated the submission of design review comments to PADGS and design professionals, performed independent estimates of each design stage, and provided input for the design of the security system with subconsultants. Our duties also included the submission of an integrated CPM schedule in conjunction with PADGS and the successful contractor as well as attending meetings with other members of project team.
